On Fri, my bro-in-law is dragging me to the NHRA drag races in Topeka, KS. (pun intended) I've never been to one, and it's probably not my thing, BUT..looking forward to the experience at least once. YES, I have a pair of sound-muffling headphones!

Sat - Mon is WIDE OPEN for me right now. My wife & daughter will be at an event and I have permission to go play.

So what to do? One thing seems clear, I'll either hit the Mark Twain forest in MO or go where it's really good---Arkansas! I could ride or haul my F800GS for some longer miles, stay in motels or camp, whatever. I could haul my KTM somewhere and explore the rougher stuff. I'll keep an eye on the weather--that might influence some of the variables.

So what are you doing? Maybe I can tag along?

Bo, you want to show me some of your private collection? (I KNOW you've been holding out on the Kansas City gang! )

MartiniUp, you want to ride over from TX--I can meet you at the OK/AR border!

Navaho, when are you coming up from Baton Rouge again?!

Any cool live music or other events going on down there I can roll into the adventure? Has the pickin' started up in Mountain View yet this year? (Oh Push Mountain Road, how thy twisties call out for me!)

I'm kinda in the same boat. Wedding in OK City Sat, but free on Monday. Hopefully Bo can pull something together, I'm in for that. I could twist on Push Mountain with the GS too.

Dag nabbit. Mike's frothing machine is on the fritz again.

JaiDee sure got testy when people were eavesdropping on his pillow talk with Chuckles.

Dammit Wayno! I still haven't had the pleasure to meet you yet you sneaky FF! When Shelley and I showed up at your camp on Uncle Rays stolen atv I didn't realize that was you. We tried to come back and see ya that night but the pollocks and beer were too entertaining to leave. When we headed back to see you Saturday you had left for home already.

Byrds is having a Jeep event all weekend, it's always fun to watch them tear their stuff up. That may be where we end up but we haven't made plans just yet.

I've not been to Push Mountain yet, it's down by Mena isn't it?

I wondered where you were Doc, we must have just missed you. We rode to St Paul and ended up at the BBQ place warming up by the stove, it was chilly!

Push mountain is just south of MT Home, near Norfork lake.

wonderful riding over there, that has become my favorite area to explore forest roads.

Nope. Just south of Mtn Home. With plenty of gravel roads off of and near it.

The last time I was over there in April Jay, they were doing a controlled burn in the Nat. Forest just east of Optimus, that was really an odd feeling riding through there.

Yeah. It gives ya an apocalyptic feeling riding through a bunch of burnt forest. Spooky and ethereal.

Then ya twist the throttle and it's all fun and games again.

Morning fellers. Anyone got a OBD II reader? The Jeep sputtered and died this morning. Wanna see if it threw a code before I start messing with it.

Other than that, I've been busy adjusting to life with another kid. I think it's staring to smooth out (knock on wood).

I got down to Block street yesterday, saw Mouth, but none of you other FFer's.
