On one occasion, when I must have been pretty obnoxious to my sister, she ground her bubble gum in my hair. Dad had to cut it out with a pocketknife.

Mom was not a happy camper.
LOL....my one recollection of the family car "Vacation" was the ride across the country in the Buick Special wagon with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I was pretty little, and don't remember much, but do remember one very good "relief" pee. I had to go, REAL BAD, like little kids do, and dad had just stopped. He had no intention of stopping the whole cat-herding party again. He says "Louise, have him go in my thermos, it's empty". Ewww, but I was saying "ahhhhhhhhhh....."

Problem is, a little kid:
(1) has a 40oz, not 24oz bladder, and
(2) can't stop the stream.

Seven people trying to avoid being sprayed by the fire hose caused quite the ruckus in the car, with dad laughing so hard he nearly wrecked.
The only one that got in big trouble? Dad, of course.

Damn Ted! I have that many on the R5 this summer, and we are BOTH old and busted-up.
I spent $250+ on parts the night before last, so that is gonna change.

It sounds like I wasn't the only one awake most of the night. I spent mine watching Isle of Man videos on youtube.

Thanks for the morning chuckle Magoo.

Ready to Ride

Well, I got finished packing this morning...

...and all I need now is to mount the luggage on the bike, get dressed and hit the road with Charlie. Three more sleeps and the adventure begins.

That's a sexy little outfit on the right. You gonna wear that at night around the campfire?

He will cover it with the Squeal Like A Pig layer on the bed to tease the Yankees before showing the "Outfit".

Yeah, sterio CPAPs. Just what I need for a good night's sleep. Seriously though, I wish you were going on this one too Albie. I think it'll be a lot of fun. Good food too.

That's the cool little camp chair Charlie and I each bought. Light, compact and cheap. We'll see how it performs on the trip, but I think it will be great. It's comfortable (good back support) and pretty stable for just having 3 legs. It might have a 6 beer limit, but we'll field test it to see for sure.
