Saweeet!
Nice get Mica. I told you before that I am a big fan of the DR-Z.
Very nice; we like. I wish you many happy miles of riding. You do realize that it won't handle, accelerate, and generally perform like your last bike, right?

The new tag:
First, a little back story. When congress asked each state to provide a bust of two beloved figures from their history to be placed permanently on display in the rotunda of the Capitol, the folks in Richmond offered two that they believed to be representative of Virginia. Congress replied, thank you for the bust of [famous Virginian]; however, we aren't interested in the second bust. Please resubmit another, preferably one of [another famous Virginian]. Richmond replied, alright then, just send us back both. Congress was in a pickle. Okay then, they said, if that's the only way to keep the first, then we'll take both. Anyhow, if you know who these two figures are who represent VA in the U. S. Capitoline, then you'll know the name of this local school. This school abuts a boulevard that bears the same name as one of the school's namesakes. Additionally, the west of the school (the rear face of the building) faces a street named for a famous county (shire) in England (and Virginia). So, just to the north (and immediately adjacent to the school) is an education center that houses a planetarium. In between the school and planetarium is the school's aquatic center. ![]() ![]() Across the street from the planetarium/education center is what was once a bowling alley, but is now some sort of tech. business. You can see the sign in the photo below. ![]() Alli sits in the foliage just below the flagpole bearing the VA flag directly in front of the planetarium's parking lot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Happy hunting. Okay, scratch that. Three letters and two words... or one abbreviation and two words... or whatever... I'm sure the difference would be lost on most of their fans anyhow. ![]() I'd be tempted to stay for something like three songs. Unfortunately, they'd probably play many of the lesser songs between the three that I'd want to hear. |

Hmm, just sitting here & thinking where a little gator could have a memorable tag. Hmm, maybe up in a light fixture at Dulles? On a stone in the middle of the Potomac River?

I missed it by about 10 minutes then! Takes me about an hour to get down there. I figured out why I was confused, though. For some reason my computer displays the time -3, so I thought you got it at 5:30.
Dulles works good for me! |

Nice grab.
I love that sticker. I go around mumbling that to myself when I pass (or get passed by) drivers trying to multitask with the phone. Passed a guy recently who was so busy holding his phone to one ear, holding another device in his other hand and trying to use two fingers (but not the thumb) to control the steering wheel. Made me glad to leave him behind, since staying in his lane seemed not merely difficult, but not exactly on his mind either. Looking forward to the new tag site post. |

Passed a lady a little while ago, she was yacking on her phone with her window down. I goosed the throttle as I went by.
