Oh, I know exactly where it is. Only, Ms. Beard told me that if I leave tonight I can plan on her not letting me back in until morning. She cited somethin' about a deer slipping on some black ice and shattering my frozen torso on impact. She's from a warmer climate...

Hmmm, I think I know where it is . . .

Won't even be able to try for it until after work, high probability of getting Bruce'd.

I think just finding the place would be well worth the ride though.

A little frosty out this morning at 0600. "Is that shiny stuff just the light or is it . . . . . ?"

And I'm the "grampa" who was lecturing poor HBurg on riding in fog . . . . .

Attention Anyone Afraid of Getting Bruced After Work Today:

Don't put off going after the tag for fear of getting bruced by the 'Beard! He had to actually stay in & work for the money today. You are receiving this message because he always posts hours after the tag is gone when he finally drags his sorry but home.

This has been a public service announcement.

I think the 'not wanting to get bruced factor' goes way up when the weather is cold/inclement. BTW the VA state Tag is not far out of Nova ToR boundaries.

Well, as it turns out, Dr. Beard's boss, by chaining him to his desk/computer, has done the rest of the free world a favor--even us woebegone slaves who work in the Tyson's area. Thanks to Elkhound's clues, I thought I had the right place . . . .

And there was this cool memorial to Woodbridge residents killed in the 11 Sep attacks. I can relate . . . .

Iffn y'all haven't been there, here's the dead-giveaway.

And lookee here--what came up from the cold!!

Just as purty (or handsome--I understand the gender of the party of the first part is under question . . . . .)

I'm plumb sure this is her (his????) favorite motorsickle. Sorry about the grain--startin' ta git dark. . . . ..

Talking New Tag

Well, there's this big lake, see, near where y'all have had some past tags, see. Joggin' trail all round it. Sum folks ride them bike-sickles 'round there too.

Der's lotsa ways to git to dis lake. One is fer FISHIN' ONLY.

But dey didn't persicute me. Ali neither. Lotsa these signs at this here big lake. Named after a locally famous guy, I hear.

Lookee here for this here sign. Ali didn't wanta be too near the water, so her new lair is not at the "ramp." And since the bitch (gender??) ain't no dog, we figger'ed she'd be fine here.

She's a hidin' just behind this here sign.

Since she ain't quite down by the fisher-folks, she figger'ed to be fine on top of de snow. Jus' awaiting fer y'all.

Yes, good grab and tag.
Fairfax County seems to do a good job of designating/restricting parks for specific activities.

Fingers are OK. Might lose a toe, though.

Update shortly. Need to find the St. Bernard with the Brandy...
