Old Dumphries Rd, Warrenton.

New Tag

He is under the sign:

Looking down the road:

Ali: "So, now that you have dropped me off, ARe you going to have a nice cold COLA up the RD?"
Me: I think I will go to the intersection of this road (where I hid you) where it meets the rd named after aged draught animals. You know, that big blue one that hung out with Paul Bunyon? From there I will turn left and hit McDonalds for a couple cheeseburgers. I have a hankering for pink slime.
Ali: What's that loud noise??
Me; Oh, thats just people going on trips, leaving from the transportation hub very close to here. It is named after a former Secretary of State and is the DULLESt place to work. Have fun hiding out.

I talked with him about that bike,,,,, hope the idiotic dealler didn't scare him from KTM for good. I have a hunch that whatever was the cause of the vibration was not a major issue.

Some of these folks in the forum are real techno-geeks; I admire their knowledge and keyboard skills, but I shore ain't got 'em.
I found that Honda symbol on the net, reduced the size with a program That came with my camera and pasted it onto Boatman's pic in paint. Not too technical but I was proud of my accomplishment.

The real issue was the dealer. He didn't scare me from KTM....just THAT KTM.
I know I could have worked something out with the owner to diagnose the vibration, which I agree was probably minor, but the dealer never returned my calls and didn't like the idea of me talking to the owner. By the look on his face when I asked if I could get the owners phone number(which he never gave me) I'm sure he was low balling the owner and trying to get top dollar for the bike, which needed a KTM mechanic(or someone familiar with them) to check out, not his mechanic.

There are plenty more where that one came from.

Here's to that dealer...

1. To find Ali, follow the road described by SteelB12, minus the "old". Turn right after you cross the river.

2. Tomorrow.

Now you see him:

Now you don't:

Ali is behind the first strawberry just to the right of the stairs.

Happy tagging. . ..

Way to go! I was up near there a little while ago. If I didn't have stuff I need to get done today I'd turn around and grab it again. My record of grabbing the same tag in one day is 3.... so far.
