Commemorative Tag!
Tag:
![]() You'll find Ali at the base of the light pole behind the wooden sign: ![]() Closer look: ![]() The hide, marked by an "A": ![]() Looking left: ![]() Looking right: ![]() Looking inward: ![]() The clue: Ali wanted to go somewhere that would commemorate his (well, his and his predecessors) 1,000 grab. He also wanted to mille around for a bit before finding some place to rest on. I tried to accommodate him. Unfortunately, I failed to find a place for him to rest on, or rest in. The ground and cheap cover was the best I could do. For what it is worth, the guy pictured in the "looking right" pic above was intrigued with what I was doing. Apparently, the yellow bike, yellow suit and yellow helmet are not as camouflaging as I had thought. I just pretended that I belonged. I asked him "isn't this one of the first planned communities?" He replied "yes." "Great," I said, "this was the one I was told to take a picture of." He seemed to buy the explanation and continued on his way. So I believe Ali is safe from his interest (but Ali is not buried, so don't dawdle. you may well find that this evening's storm has uncovered Ali). Also, it is my hope that the light from the street lamp may make for an easy night time grab. ![]() The quick clue is this: find the lane that commemorates the game's 1,000 tag and you'll find Ali. Happy Tagging!

well..........based on the time from grab to tag posts and the ID on the sewer manhole cover, I would say it didnt move too far.

5P -- you are assuming I use one of those new fangled telecommunications devices that allows me to post from the road. I don't. Tin cans and string my friend. So, while I applaud your use of all clues, including the manhole cover, unfortunately you can't infer anything from the grab to post time for my tags. . ..
For this tag you should, however, pay attention to the grab. There is a relevant clue there.Happy tagging!

You might want to consider an upgrade to fiber optic cable with those tin cans

Has Ali been abandoned? Recall that he is resting under the light of a street lamp. Doubt there is much warmth, though. . ...

I have no idea where the crawling belt is, so I won't be grabbing him any time soon
