Since Ali and I usually do lunch when I grab, he wanted to go to his favorite place and enjoy some yard bird. Unfortunately they are closed on sundays. If you are super quick you should be on target for making this grab. Dont let Ali sit too long or he will collect a ton of lint.

I'm late to the table but...Why don't you keep Rudy in play and maybe here soon "someone" can make a double grab or tag and swap prisoner...er...mascots back. We will just keep using Ali for awhile. I've seen other games where they have mixed mascots around. I think it's kinda fun!

Which raises the question of how to treat Rudy.

Ali crawled on the map to mark the spot. So we are finishing our breakfast and heading out to this preserve.

After further review, Tag 1001 has been ruled a NON-GRAB.

How did you come to that conclusion? The tag had been grabbed...maybe not with Ali but there was still a mascot, placed where the original mascot had been left correct?

You know, the easiest thing to do would have been to just leave the duck in play instead of disqualifying the entire tag and resetting still another mascot at still another location.
Is there some kind of duck phobia in NOVA I don't know about?

To be honest, I'm rather shocked at the anger, frustration and demands by some that this little joke caused!

My hats off to whoever did this. It certainly did ruffle the feathers of a few of you city slickers!
