[QUOTE=XDragRacer;20314868]Lunch? Did someone say, "Lunch?"

This county's only known VEGETARIAN barbecue chef prepares to serve lunch to FAW3, [STEELB12 ], rebel346, Porcupine224:

I was a bit shocked at the size of the portion of ribs. Didn't think I could eat all of that.

O.K., the bridge view looks essentially SOUTH; the road's digits add to 17 (if I performed the addition correctly), and the road's named for a ford. NOT an honorable-mention third-place ford, not even a second-place, runner-up ford, but . . . a ford on the pinnacle of the podium. Or, maybe a forde in that position!
Bonus clue:

The bridge shown is located approximately 100 meters south of an intersection with a major US highway. Turning east at the intersection, the highway is named for the commander of the 43rd Battalion, Virginia Cavalry. Turning west, the highway commemorates two other notable Confederate commanders.

Thus sayeth Google Maps!

Christmas Eve bonus clue:

I asked a fortune teller what she would tell someone seeking Ali.

She said, "I would tell them to seek the chrysalis to find the alligator."

Merry Christmas all ye tagger-folk! Didn't seem right to leave the gator out in the snow tonight so i set forth to grabb. Conditions were a bit worse than i imagined what with the snow and everything.

It was way slippery-er than i expected so my tag site was not that far away but after I had it all set, my phone died. Had to bring the gator back with me. Sorry, no grabbing tonight, santa-types.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays dentvet from the swift completion of his targeted grab!

.

Champe Ford Road, 100 meters south of US Route 50, John Mosby Highway/Lee-Jackson Highway, near Aldie, VA.

Merry Christmas, all!

---------------------------------------------

Clue resolution: Champe Road leads to Chrysalis Vineyards!

The gator really liked that one lane bridge and the Small river than runs beneath it. The next tag is by another one lane bridge over that same Small river. Its on the road that is upstream and across the county line from the previous tag.

gator is wedged in a bark crease located in this 5 foot tree next to the road. Its about two feet off the ground, lining up with the left handlebar in this pic:
