O.K.; you need more clues!

The avenue named for the individual mentioned; he was instrumental in applying the "I" to all the roadways in this country with that prefix! He had his fair share of combat, but not at Gettysburg, where he farmed, not fought. He warned us of the "military-industrial complex," used in his farewell address on January 17, 1961. Lots of people LIKED him; even before the era of the Internet and social media, he got lots of, "Likes!"

A road named for the device invented by --/---/.-./.../.? Maybe it's tellin', but . . . the name is in MORSE code! What device was invented by Samuel B. Morse?

A road named for CuSO4? Well, that's the chemical formula for . . . copper sulphate. There is no, "Copper Sulphate Road," in this RLD that shares its name with a city on the Nile delta in Egypt, AFAIK, but . . . a roadway named for its crystalline form, brightly azure . . .

Now, a "Place," named for a run. Happens also to be named for an associated park. But, the roadsign manufacturer got fancy, and added an "e," making it, "Parke."

Two numerical designations for the "I" highway nearby? Digit sums are 14, and . . . 18; the former two digits; the latter, three digits.

More clues available, if you need 'em!

See, I was good until you got into the chemistry. I had the general area, but couldn't get the exact two side streets. Maybe now I can.

RLD baby. . ...

Grab:

I/O Cameron Parke Place/Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA (Cameron Run Office Park)

In fairness to SB12, I had spied these statues on an earlier ride, and thought it would be a good tag! Much credit to XDrag for having similar instincts.

A sort of water tower type tag to follow. . ..

Tag:

Look here for the hide (near the fence, back between the two pines):

Marked with an "A" like so:

I told Ali about the murmuring of not being taken to a water tower in a bit. Ali thought that was a good idea, but I confessed that I did not have G2K's secret list. After some thinking, we headed towards DC (thank goodness for express lanes). As we enjoyed the HOV, I told Ali I could take him to something that kind of looked like a water tower, but was definitely near a water tower G2K had taken his predecessor to before. In fact, I nearly got jammed by a locked gate on a steep descent. Ali said that was just fine by him.

Soo, to find Ali, look north, and the number 25 will lead you to the correct street or road, and on this drive we definitely stayed in the Old Dominion. This tag is very HBN friendly.

Happy Tagging!

New Tag/Hike

In honor of "The Country" I figured we'd find a slice of the outdoors in the thick of the urban jungle. This tag requires a short walk, three or four stream crossings, a bit of a rock scramble and zero complaints.

Start Here:

Continue past this sign (clue)

Tag Spot

Ali is under the large angular sloping rock in the bottom left of the pic

Ahh, but the padding in the gear can assist you when one goes sliding over the rocks!
