The rifle will be used for small bore paper punching and Silhouette....I have been using an old nylon 66 (I think I posted up pics of it early in this thread) But those ranges have been only out to 25 yards inside. The rifle has done fine but just want something new to play with.

I am also up to suggestions to something vintage and unique that will not bust the bank....I tend to enjoy older stuff much more.

This will all go away if I can do ok with the single shot mauser...just not sure I can get by with a single shot time wise.
The 452 is an excellent rifle, I'll let you know about the 512 when I get mine.
I am looking forward to seeing how well the polymer on the 512 holds up. Whether it's an asset or a doink is yet to be seen.

I'd really like a 452 in 17hm2. I'd take one in 22lr, too, but the 17hm2 intrigues me. I've read nothing but good things about the CZ.

The cartridge seems moribund, regrettably.

I also have the same set of rifles, and the small remington I have was my fathers when he was a boy, the stock was gone when I got it , and I was able to get a rough cut one and finish it and put it on.The thing has ben fired so many times that the barrel is worn, so the bullet key holes.

Anyone have any target time with a Berretta Bobcat? Had one for years and never fired it.

I was cutting through a sporting goods store at the mall on the way to lunch today and spotted a lever action Henry .22 WMR. I was late getting back from lunch due to the paper work.

The action on this thing is unbelievably smooth. Can't wait to get it to the range later this week. I'll probably mount a scope on it with see-through rings so I can still use the sights.
