Here are some more pictures, I am not really happy with the pictures, but here they are ..

The gun is more accurate than I am, The action of the bolt is smooth like butter, and a great trigger feel.
I am considering a center fire CZ next .

With all the rimfire talk, I now have a new urge to jazz up that 10/22. I think I'm going to limit myself to a 300 budget. Today I'm thinking about one of those Hogue stocks, a bull barrel, and a decent scope. The gunsmith down the street supposedly has some neat tricks for the trigger, maybe I'll have him play with it a bit... might bust the budget though.

Great looking rifle. I've been looking at that exact came CZ. I really like the stock and I miss the accuracy of a .22LR bolt action. I still remember learning how to shoot with an old Remington. Pretty affordable as well. I'm also looking at the CZ Varmint but the wood doesn't look as nice.

I love "US Property" Mossbergs. Here is my latest, a 42MB, given to England as part of Lend Lease during WW2-it is British-proofed.

I've been looking for something like that. A military trainer with a peep sight. That's a nice one.

There are many different .22 trainers that have been used by the US military. The most common one might be the Mossberg 44US-the CMP has been selling them very reasonably for years now. The Remington 513T is another-they were doled out to shooting clubs after WW2. I got my "Junior Smallbore" medal with one of these at our local conservation club in the late '60s. I just bought one at a gun show last year. I recommend the book 'US Martial .22 RF rifles" by Thomas Batha-it's a small softbound book available for about $14 on Amazon.

Here's my one of my 44US Mossbergs:

Just doing some general cleaning/upkeep to stuff I haven't had a chance to use in a bit. Thought I might as well stick them here.

Here's my 10/22:

Not much left stock on it save the reciever and the trigger group. The Volquartsen target hammer sweetened up the trigger quite a bit and with the Green Mountain Bull Barrel, it is a tack driver.

Connor

It's a .22, go with a 2.5~10x scope with mil dot reticle and buy a Mil Dot MAster and before you know it you'll be making mil ranging seem easy and fun.
