I went geocaching today, I found two of them! One at the ES train station, and one on the overlook above the Beaver Lake damn overlook. Had to really work at it though because the Nuvi isn't well suited fo the task.
I finally figured out that if I got to the satellite screen I could see real time coordinates as I moved. After I figured that out I was able to locate the caches by writing down the coordinates and comparing them with the on screen coordinates. It was still tough because the Nuvi is only accurate to 24 feet and that gives me a 48 foot margin of error. So, the clues given were invaluable.

Maps?
I have searched the Lay'n down tracks section and can not find answers..way too over whelming..anyway, question for you GPS gurus..am needing some maps for this Etrex and do I get the maps on the SDmicro card or get the Dvd (how in the world do you load up a dvd to a sd card?)..my head hurts!

I think I may have answed my question..I am now the proud owner of two new SD cards, one is TOPO and the other is Street navigation, USA..now if I can only keep from formating those cards!
