LOL Joe!

I was there Saturday and could not find it. I was on a ride that had gone astray as well.

I know where it is now.

But I don't know when I will be able to go back and get it.

I only did around 550 miles Saturday and I was not two up. So, I feel for ya.

After much searching on mapquest/google earth etc, I think I was within 15 miles of the tag...... Now it is 150 miles from me.

IF ( big if) I have this plotted correctly, this tag isnt that far off the T.A.T. Leads to interesting possibilities.

And the new tag. May be a tough one, as there's no context and it can't be easily seen from the road.

Here are my hints-
1. Requests were to move the tag westward, so this one is SW of the Skelly School by ~35 miles via the crow.
2. Cafe is closed but there are long service lines at all times.
3. Try the fish.

If nobody has a clue, I'll repost a different pic which helps give away the location.

Good luck.

Off Chewey Road between Watts, OK and Hwy 10. It's 3 miles from Hwy 10, but I came to it via Watts due to the fact it has a Watts address.

Not sure what the "BFF" is... If you want to elaborate, I'm listening. I have no history on the place, so what you see is what you get. I'll let it stew a bit before posting any other clues.

Btw- I decided to snag this tag at about 11 last night. I was nervous someone would get to it before me. That's why I posted from my blackberry. Rode through early morning fog in NE ok this morning. Visibility was terrible for quite a while.

Pic hardly does it justice... Moisture on inside and outside of face shield as well as on sunglasses.

! FYYFF! You were right to be nervous. I rode 430 miles today to get that tag, hours of boring straight riding to get to the semi-twisty east of OK, to get stuck behind a car with too many antennas for me to be willing to pass, with a MINIVAN tailgating me on Rt 10 we were going so slow. %)(!*

BUT... Chewey Rd was pretty, as was Chewey-Proctor Rd (N4625, and various other numbers, in google maps/mapquest). It was what my Wee-Strom was designed for: potholed, twisty pavement, filled with gravel. I couldn't have taken that road nearly as fast on a nervous-suspension sportbike. The weather was beautiful, had a nice dinner on Tenkiller, added a couple roads to my list, and getting home late gives me an excuse not to meet up at 8am for the Meers ride tomorrow.

BTW, I think I may have ridden past that abandoned cafe... And for those who had trouble finding it, did you try Googling (not google mapping) Skelly Public School? It gives you pretty explicit directions. ;)
