Playoff Hockey!!!!

Everything that came before, now means nothing.

Intensity, fast paced, every game could be the last.

The Pens have finally stepped to this level of play. They had to to get here.

How about your team?

It's kill or be killed time.

Blues locked last night, right? Nashville lost, and St. Louis beat Columbus.

Gotta say, I am, and always have been a Columbus fan, but I was sort of wanting the Blues to win last night. I just wanted Nashville to get knocked out.

top 8 is set, nashville and minny are officially golfing next week.

I like to see the Blues, Blackhawks, and Bruins all in - need to have strong franchises in those cities to help pay for the sun-belt embarassments.

I predict that the Vancouver Canucks will get out of the first round. There will be great celebrating, and Roberto Luongo will be crowned King. Then they will tank in the second round and there will be much moaning and wailing.

I predict Calgary will implode. Typical Mike Keenan team: they're tired, wounded (15 skaters against Edmonton? WTF? Can't clal up players due to cap space? Gross mismanagement) and the goaltender has lost confidence because Keenan is a dick. Whoever Calgary plays - likely Chicago - will move to the second round. Maybe then Calgary's front office will do the right thing and axe Iron Mike.

Habs havent' got enough to do anything. Ditto Rangers. I say Washington/New Jersey are the teams to watch in the east.

I don't see any canadian team making it to the second round; the matchups just don't look right.

can't believe i'm saying that about a hockey team from ohio, but they have played their best hockey against the elite teams.

methinks they can surprise.

Bruins aren't looking like a playorf team right now, losing to Buffalo 5-0. Maybe they're resting guys, getting ready for the playoffs.

Blues are in and one if the hottest teams since the all star break. They have nothing to lose. They might surprise a few in the west.

With Boston's loss the Sharks back into the President's Trophy.

Nice hardware but the way they played their last 5 games they're gonna be using the first round to get back into shape.

They'd better pay attention.

I don't know if Boston is good enough to win the cup, although they are a good team with the best goalie in the league this year. But they are in, and have a chance to do some damage. We need a Cup in Boston to have 4 champs in this decade. Let's go Bruins!!!!!!!!!!!

Blues beat the Avs today, Columbus and Ducks lost yesterday. Blues vs Canucks now as the Blues move up to 6th. The two hottest teams in the west.
