Sadly I fear you may be true there Sid.

The petulant hand thrashing gesture as he walked off after being subbed was just not english.

I sure wish he could play for England as he does for Chelsea.

P.S. I hope there's some truth in the whole Ribery rumour mill.
Total and utter twat.

Yeah, yeah.

You loooves you some Ronaldo.

He may be a twat, but he's your twat.

Let's talk again when he jumps ship.

PS At least Drogba and Ballack were fighting for their team, not their vanity.

The Shearer Effect is.... zero.

I like Newcastle and feel sorry for their fans. Their dimwit owner put paid to their season when he undermined Kevin Keegan and let him slip away.

Completely moronic. Keegan was the best thing that's happened to that club in a very long time. They had hope and fight and were showing good performances. You should fight like hell to keep a manager like that, not play front-office politics and drive him away.

Newcastle's problems begin and end with their owner. What an idiot.

Fixed.

Newcastle is one of those clubs that continually snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Just as you think they have finally got it right, their owners make a fuckwit move to undermine everything.

My doG their fans deserve better.

Fergie's shown over the years that no prima donna player is bigger than the team.

He should've called Ronnie's & Real's bluff last year.

The first thing that's gone right for him since he took over.

...and now the second

From the BBC seconds ago...

Loose ball comes to Kevin Nolan on the right and his cross bounces once before being plucked out of the air by a fabulous volley from substitute Peter Lovenkrands. Two substitutes, two goals. Alan Shearer has got the golden touch.

Yes, I read that.

Where was his "golden touch" against Liverpool? Against Portsmouth (his last "must win" match?) Against Tottenham? Against Stoke City?
