I'm watching my recording of Chelsea-Manchester United.

It's half-time.

And I'm scared of playing the second half. Chelsea are up 1-0. I want it to end right now. I can't stand to have my heart broken. A draw or a loss and the season's over for Chelsea.

Were it not for an atrocious ref I have no doubt whatsoever that Chelsea would be the reigning Champions League winners. So don't talk to me about refereeing mistakes.

Also... four minutes of added time? Typical of refs at Old Trafford. Not a single injury stoppage, only substitutions and he adds four minutes? That's the Alex Ferguson edge at work. I don't know how he keeps a straight face when he complains about refs.

It did even out (sort of) as Neville's challenge looked like it should have been a penalty. Good game though and perhaps Chelsea have hit form with just nine games remaining.

Agreed about Mourinho. Classic win. They played well within themselves. Inter are really finding their game, they looked tremendous.

So now we have another highly charged semi between Barca and Mourinho. Could be a classic.

Messi's finishing is unbelievable. Lots of accomplished strikers in his positions will fire the ball right at the goalie.

But Messi is so accurate with his shots that he never seems to do that. And his nimble feet are amazing. His first goal against Arsenal really shouldn't have happened. He squeezed it through the narrowest of gaps with no time at all to think. And into the top right corner. Perfect.

The question in my mind is whether this is a purple patch for him? Or if the 22 year-old can actually sustain this kind of accuracy for the next 5 to 8 years? I'm thinking the former, but I'm not willing to bet on it.

What a joy to watch him play.
