Eh? Last summer

Had a kid (early teens?) that was standing in the doorway of a rural gas station/convenience store ask all excited-like, "Is that the new 250?" as I headed in to pay after filling up. Sort of took me off balance so kind of blinked a few times while I looked at him to see if he was serious, grinned and said, "Naw, it's a little bit bigger than that. Why don't you go take a closer look" So he runs off and starts circling the bike all crouched over to look at details and the lady at the counter (his mom?) says something like "Don't mind him, he's crazy about motorcycles." I think he got embarassed because he headed off around the corner of the building instead of coming back.

Bike in question

What's with the milk crates on the sides?

I like it, but why did they make the engine like that? If they made that different, I'd look at one. That's ugly.

You wouldn't recognize sarcasm if it bit you on the ass. He was pulling your chain and you fell for it. Your nickname suits you.

A friend of miine had someone ask him "What kind of bike is a "Give Me Monkey"???"

They were looking at "Givi Monokey" on his top case...

I'm thinking he meant 250 cubic inch and not centimeters.

Or someone told him he should start on a 250 and was REALLY hoping something like that was an option.

Not a trailer queen

I have a picture of my KLR and I at the Arctic Circle sign in the map pouch on my tank bag. One day a 20-something looked at it and said,

"That is a cool picture; how did you get the bike there?"

Morons.
