Well the Suzuki "S" is the same on all their products, so yeah I would think a nonrider who has seen Suzuki automobiles should be able to recognize a trademark.

Maybe if they own or have looked at Suzuki cars. I pay attention to stuff like that. Not everyone does or even cares.

I thought Yamaha made pianos, hence the tuning forks in their emblem.

In addition to bikes, they make all manner of musical instruments. Drums, pianos, and guitars come to mind.
