If they made a pumped-water heat exchanger, I bet a few of us in Florida would use 'em.

My mesh jacket works good.

Also, this looks pretty interesting.

Just did a Google search... Nothing new in the past 3 years, so it's likely dead

Full disclosure, I had a full face helmet and sunglasses on:

"What year is it?"

"1975."

"Did you buy it new?"

"Well, I would have been 8 years old."

He was a nice guy who confessed to wanting a G650GS. I told him to go get it!

Stopped in at the local Chevron for go juice for my F650GS. The flunky comes out to see what I was doing because I wasn't putting gas in the tank. I explain that the gas tank was under the seat. He says I thought all bikes had the gas tank up top. I show him my oil cap and told him it was a second tank but it didn't need gas. He says Oh I didn't know and walks away. I cant help myself sometimes.

Try putting Diesel in a VW. They shut off the pump on you.

I stopped to fill up my Jetta TDI one time and when the pump didn't print me a receipt, I went inside to request one for pump #xx. The clerk punched a few keys on his register, looked at the receipt as he handed it to me. He stopped and with a shocked expression asked "Did you just put diesel in your car?" I replied with "Well, since it's a diesel, I certainly hope so." He looked at me as if I didn't know what I was doing.

I had a station do that once when trying to fill up a dump truck. They couldnt grasp the concept that the truck had a GAS motor.

Had that happen before. Worst part was I was a pimply faced teenager with a shiny new license, so convincing them took quite a bit.

I get strange responses filling my car up with diesel all the time, my favorite is when somebody on the next pump point out "you know you are putting diesel into that right?"... I certainly hope so cause it is going to be a real short trip if I am not.

What's wrong with that? Do you know a lot of bikes with this filler caps (gas and oil) configuration? Before shopping for this bike, did you know where those caps were?

You would think the decal in the fuel door that says "Diesel fuel only" would be enough to convince them.

My spouse yelling "what do you think the D is for?!" while pointing at the TDI badge worked sometimes..... Of course, in truth, the D stands for Direct, but.....
