You bastards.
That looks like a walkera something or another. I have never had any luck with their stuff. http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/blade-mcx.html would be a better bet for starting off. Little bit more, but alot more support and better electronics etc. Plus more than likely if you have a rc shop nearby there is parts which you will need sooner or later. Around here there is no walkera parts to be had locally. and it does suck waiting for a blade to come in the mail just to fly.

time to upgrade now then.

Whatever you do don't learn like I did. I started out with a Blade CP Pro. I could of bought 2 complete Trex 450's for what it cost me in parts to learn to fly that CP pro. Then I got the coax helis and couple trex's 450 and 500. and a raptor 50 and........

Great collection (particularly the 4x4 buggies).

I love the T-Tech cars, wish that company that owns them now would bring the touring car back.

I've been into RC my entire life. I started out with a Tamiya Subaru Brat turned into a Grasshopper later. Then on to RC10's, Boomerang, various street cars, and I now own but never fly a Blade CPpro, and a Traxxas Revo.

This is my finest work to date, and I wish I'd never sold her. If ANYONE sees that chassis for sale anywhere, I'll pay you a finders fee. I want to buy it back if it still exists.

Made from 3/16th's automotive brake line, mig welded, with two lathe motors, stainless steel axle shafts because the motors kept twisting off stock steel Clod Buster shafts. Four wheel steer. It may not be as competitive as some of those out of the box competition rigs, but what can I expect from scratch..

The maiden flight of the Kansas Grasshopper

The only damage was my pride.
Honestly I think it was the wind. Yeah that's it. The wind.

yea that wind sure can wreck havok with them helicopters. although it looked like your tail rotor wasn't spinnin fast enough and caused you to go into a spin hehehe.

not bad for a first flight. i still remember mine with my cp pro. was at a motel in Albquerque and flew it from the end of the bed right into the AC unit. was back at the hobby shop the next morning buying replacement parts and the cycle repeated itself for a couple months after that.
1. attempt to fly
2. head to rc shop
3. buy lots and lots of spare parts
see step 1....

Sad thing is I recognize just about all of them.

The Frog, Lancia Rally, Subaru Brat, Ford F150 Ranger XLT, Super Champ, The Wild One, Fast Attack Vehicle, Holiday Buggy, Sand Rover and a B2B Racing Side Car on the top shelf. The Wild Willy, Opel Ascona 400 Rally, Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota Hilux 4x4, Toyota 4x4 Pickup Bruiser, Honda Formula 02, etc... Lots of Tamiya's first 100.

Tamiya has gone retro with more re-releases. Finally, they're getting to their really early models. Next up is the Rough Rider Buggy. I'm still waiting for a Super Champ though!

BTW, a Bruiser can sell for $700-1200 if in decent shape. I'd say the Toyota Hilux would be similar is not a bit more. You have a nice collection.
