I´ve still got about twelve fully functional electric airplanes in my basement that I haven´t flown for years...and two that I haven´t even gotten around to assembling yet...how was I supposed to know that motorcycling uses up such a lot of time on warm, sunny days? Why didn´t anybody warn me??

Thanks for starting that thread, reminds me I really ought to get back into my old hobby a bit. All that stuff is quietly starting to go to waste, epecially the batteries.

I, too, have got too many hobbies...motorcycling, bicycling, R/C airplanes, archery, reading most of all

i had several others. gave them all to my kid. he loves to fly the stuff.

i had better luck with the "air hogs" planes. simple. nearly indestructable. and CHEAP. got 'em on clearance at a Target store. 20 bucks ready to fly.

Had a few trainer planes, then got a Raptor 30, sold it and bought a Blade CP Pro. Sold it, bought a CX2 and an MCX. Also have two Vapors. Those are fun!

Does 17 planes, 5 radios and countless accessories count?

I brought mine out to Utah - it was great not having a tall tree for miles!

I'd say that's just about right.

Beautiful.

I flew control-line as a kid and always wanted to get into RC but it was just way too expensive.
I loved building them though, I could dope a wing with the best of them! (monocote came along and it was like cheating.)

The Vapor really made it possible for us to learn to fly RC without investing a bunch of money, as well as the ability to learn indoors or a really small outdoor area. I know that if I have to pack up and go to a field to fly, I won't fly much.
Now we fly in our little forest and it's a hoot zooming around in the trees.

This is Annie and I doing a little combat action in the backyard:

It's been a fun process.

All the gory details of our flying careers here.

I'm a verifiable RC nut, I've got the collection of planes, radios, and batteries.

I flew my SR Batteries X250 in the yard yesterday, narrowly escaped totalling it on the final, I forgot it needs a bigger yard to fly in.

Lately I like little scale WWI models...

That is very nice. Trips my trigger. I could see building something like that.
