More of the story here....linky

According to the first post in the thread, the accident chain started because of some rider who may have not been in his own lane. A most monumental fail!

Lookin at the linky I detect a hint of Pot & Kettle going on. Hope all the riders are ok and stay away from the centre line until you can see around the corner.
Could be wrong in which case apologies but that's what the photo looked like to me.

Asc.

.Reding the above made me think.

I just bought an R1200 R with ABS, ASC and linked brakes.

If I were in the same situation my Traction control may take over.

I tried a first gear wheelie keeping the RPM below 4000 .

The front wheel went up, the engine sputtered and down came the front wheel. I gave it a little gas and away I went.

The ABS is faster and a little more aggressive than on my 2000 RT.

One sweet bike!

Agreed. Plus the sleeveless gear was cool. Who me? I won't crash.

Yeah, not like I was there either, but looks to me from the pics like one guy was over so at fault, BUT the other guy sure looked CLOSE, maybe even overhanging the line. One guy running wide, other guy early apex, not good at all. So the guy running close may be in the right, but was almost "dead right".
