Important safety tip: riding can be relaxing... up to a point.

Is it just me or does that last picture look like a couple of midgets on minibikes?

Odd tags, and sequential.

That is a sad & sobering set of images. i'm not a fan of bent metal & broken people.

The guy falling alongside & behind the second bike is very lucky it wasn't a boxer twin...

That is not the USA. Look at the license plates on the cars.....
Foreign trucks too.
Some other country.

The V-Max isn't supposed to handle, it's point and shoot.

Then you get on the internet and find out about the T-Boost mod. Instead of the 'secondaries' starting to open at 6,000 rpm (60 something in first gear and completely unusable), they start to open at 3,000 rpm: now we're talkin'.

Then you think, 'well, if I have that on 100% of the time, I might be dead inna week'.

So, in a survival mode, a guy might add a switch. Now he could live for up to a month.

Yippee ki-ay........................

I know.

The T-boost doesn't actually increase the horsepower, or even give you a better power curve. Actually, on the v-max forum, it was found to lower your overall horsepower, without giving enough back elsewhere. Yamaha pretty much nailed it right out the box, and that's why they were made the same for so long.

Now if we are talking superchargers... I wish the one I had bought had made it on before I sold it...

That's what they want you to believe. I don't ride on a dyno.

I love this thread. One of Linzi's and my favorite pre-kids hobbies was to run up to the overlook and make predictions on how certain riders days were going to end. It is an almost never ending circus.
