When I was on Mulholland on Labor Day a HD pulled over for the Toyota pickup in front of me but promptly pulled back in the lane before I could pass :( That guy was riding even slower than I do, good thing I only had to suffer about a mile before he turned off to take the less-twisty way back to PCH.

I have to wonder whether he didn't pull over because I wasn't riding his ass (I've got a thing about following distance...) or because he couldn't see me despite my winking headlamp because of his ridiculous novelty mirrors. I hate novelty mirrors. I briefly had an HD when my step-father died and was planning on getting rid of the useless mirrors promptly, lost that bike though but that's another story...

Not sure if fail?

Erm....................maybe...................... ....... No off road helmet and clean knee sliders.

But the slider on the base of his boot more than makes up for the lack of an off-road bonedome.

The SuMo attacks bother me because of Donovan. Momma-bear protecting her cub, so to speak. You'd already left before we had SuMo out at Summit so you never got to see him ride.

Let us know about Oct. AllSports is Oct 28, btw. Weekends are pretty busy but we could always hook up on a weeknight! And yeah, he knows a thing or two about beer.

Yes, yes it is. Seems to be a societal issue at this point and not restricted to driving situations.

. Interesting can be both good and bad. Hope it has been interesting "good". Me? As we say in South FL, La misma mierda de siempre.

Not sure what the second part of your post means, would you care to enlighten me?
I'm outta here at the end of next summer.

Just a bit of sarcasm in response to "allowing" someone to indulge their desire to commit a crime.

I haven't had a problem with this, as acceptable passing around here seems to be in the same lane, on the left, on the right, on the sidewalk, anyplace there's an inch... I haven't decided if I think it's a good thing or not yet. A 16-year-old on a 50cc scooter scared the shit out of me on my afternoon commute today passing me in the same lane on the right, cutting across in front of me with about two inches to spare, and blissfully riding off into opposing traffic in their lane. Passing in Naples isn't an issue as long as you have solid steel balls and a death wish!
