45deg (axis through COM and contact patch) means 1G of lateral. Doesn't mean the bike is actually at 45deg, though.

Soft RC wheels can pull well over a G, so it may hang in there longer than you think.

You are correct. For some reason I always thought it was .707 G's for 45 degrees. Since many modern sportbikes are capable of 50+ degrees of lean angle, this means they can pull better than 1 G. This puts them equal to or better than most cars. I had always read that cars with their much larger tire contact patches could pull more lateral Gs than bikes. Most cars pull between .8 and 1 G on the skidpad with a few going higher. Maybe Motorcycle tires are stickier than car tires?

My motorcop friends say the only part that sucks about that job is when you on the bike all you do is work traffic. But, yes, that looks like a far more entertaining way to pass a work day than chained to this computer crunching numbers. Even if all you do is hand out tickets and direct traffic around crashes, at least you get to ride a sweet bike.

Good motorcycle tires are generally much softer than car tires and run a hotter contact patch.
If they were both on slicks, it would be a closer margin.
Also, a car has a basically fixed CG height, while the bikes is lowered by leaning, even more so when the rider hangs off the inside, in which case the effective lean angle (and therefore lateral acceleration) can be larger than the physical clearance limitations of the bike itself.

Wrong, but a common misconception. Motorcycle tires are a HARDER rubber compound than most automobile tires.

Look up the durometer (rubber hardness rating) for yourself. Street motorcycle tires generally have a durometer rating of around 65-70. Car tires are generally less (softer) than that.
