Not too 205-ish. It is nigh on Hallowe'en and these people and all the pirates and the squiddlies, etc are out:

Hard to tell, is that a lot of rear brake, or did he peg out first?
Brake light isn't very bright if it's brake...

There's certainly a lack of brightness.

Not really grinding anything yet, though.

Too bad, that was a nice VFR.

Too much throttle?

Give it more gas, if it doesn't solve the problem it will at least end the suspense.

Not enough talent.. You can see the sparks off his foot rest & the consequent gouge in the road. Thought it might be rubber off the front at first but nah, it's a gouge. Bike too fast, him too slow.

Judging by that skidmark and the tight right hander coming up, I'd guess too much brake. Assuming that's his skidmark and not just a coincidence.

Agreed. It does look like he tipped it too far, kept his body too centered, drug enough stuff to lift the rear wheel some. The gouge does look like it begins all the way back on the yellow line.

Doubt it would have been too much throttle as there is that tight right just ahead which is a bit hard to miss seeing.

Man what a bunch of Monday morning quarterbacking here. I'm sure a photographer startled him, the reflection off the lens blinded him, then he hit some very fine powder that you can't quite see in the photo but reduces traction to zero and had to lay it down.

If any of those things hadn't happened he would have run through that so fast everybody would be amazed.

You FF's are all wrong! Look closely and the cause will become obvious.

Yep, that guy didn't have loud pipes. Straight pipes would definitely have saved him!

Sent from the voices in my head, and transcribed by their drinking buddy.
