Since you were able to type this, I assumed it works! I was out for 15 minutes to get some pics of the space station and my fingers were dead for 30 minutes after...

Officially exempt in Oregon. Sort of. Legally, the attendant is supposed to operate the pump- hand you the nozzle, you hand it back when done.

In practice, they swipe the card while I'm taking gloves off / getting the tank open, and hand me the nozzle, then they walk away- so I finish it on my own. Works out faster for me- and it's all about me, right?

Besides, it's what they do all day - they'd probably be less likely to spill it anyway.
You're funny!

It's not their car (motorcycle), whyu would they care if they spilled gas on it?

I don't know - maybe because it is a personal interaction and they dealing with you face-to-face, but here in NJ the majority of attendants are quite considerate of bike riders: very often shake out the nozzle of accumulated spillage before handing it to me. Really, I never have an issue.

With the cars, as others here wrote, I enjoy the fact that someone else is getting dirty. I do not enjoy filling up out of state, then driving with my hands reeking of gas. A lot of the self-service stations do not even have the courtesy of maintaining a paper towel dispenser.

If you can't fill up your car without getting it all over your hands and have them "reeking of gas", you're doing it wrong.

It's winter. Fewer people are riding the Dragon.

So go out and search for some Dragon Pics and post them. There are lots out there.

Oh I do like this picture I found. No fails here other than a funky color shift. It is how I enjoy my time in the mountains there, pretty much on empty roads.

Yeah I over looked that thinking of spring/summer and being there. I know I have a Stealth backrest that goest on the K12RS for the wife from time to time. Might that be the backrest for a Corbin seat and it does make for less drag that way.. LOL.
