vacation? you mean Isle of Man? That's correct, but that wouldn't be "isle 3". In that context it's "Aisle 3".

Homonyms are fun.

Not as fun or amusing as synonyms.

ok big doc
1. if the only way to have fun on a motorcycle is to ride as fast as possible all the time i must be missing something.
2. mapquest says 925 miles from wilmington to daytona. i'm calling b.s. on a group ,even a small group being able to average 75 mph on that east coast trip.
3.there was a guy on this forum for a while who made outragious claims like riding 100,000 miles a year while running a shop. being a factory test rider etc. the thing is, about 75% of what he said was true. but he always had to embellish a little, go for a little more. don't be that guy

the first part of your post i like. i have never ridden a motorcycle and not had fun. ridden lots i wouldn't buy, a few i had to get of quick, usually due to cramps in my hips, but never one that i wish i hadn't gotten on.

I believe he was talking about Wilmington N.C.

523 miles.

I am leaving next Monday, two lane and 50 mph average.

Answers A and C. Even with the stock swaybar, there's no need to hang off that far.

I think the greatest drawback was if you had to maneuver quickly. Would not be pretty.
What pressure were you running? It seems that some folks think that the "right" tire pressure is what's on the tire. But that ignores the bike/person/load weight and ignores the rider's intentions (less air usually better at slow speeds over rocky terrain, etc.).

Perhaps the tire was at the "right" pressure for a car, but not for the bike, a 450 twin doesn't have a lot of weight.

Not that I'm recommending running these less-rounded tires on my bikes mind you :-)
