What I love on reading motorcycle articles, is when they say "we're going so fast that we're scraping pegs", then I see pictures where the bike is leaned all the way to the pegs/pipes/chromeparts or whatever are already scraping and the rider is counterleaning it so that he's almost upright in relation to the corner.

I doubt he was suprised by where his 10lb floorboads are located relative to the road (benefit of the doubt). Hope he was alright and bought some gear with his new chrome bits.
Larry Grodsky known for his Stayin' Safe articles and his riding classes told us at his class that he found "Harley" ridiers to actually be the best riders-his words not mine.

Typical ignorant Harley basher. Go ride one and get back to us.

Getting in any good riding this year? I just made a run through Montana and Idaho and it was fan-f'ingtastic!!!

I got to do some trekking in Montana through tall grass on the hills without the risk of starting a forest fire with my header. It is so lush and Green this year. Had a blast!!!

Not a whole lot of riding being done this year. Added another member to the family in December, so with two little uns and both of us working full time, free time is a luxury not available right now. Got to take a nice ride out to WV for my Birthday though, first in about 8 months and first trip in forever on my Airhead, I'd forgotten how much fun an old bike can be.

One of these days I'll make it out west. There's so much fantastic riding out there, I imagine it is a blast.
