LOL, didn't realize what a detour a simple pic of Flo would create... I will have to try that more often.

She's an actor who gets paid to depict a persona that an ad agency thought up. You don't like the character or the message.

In real life, she's probably a nice person.

I'll bet you think that pro wrestling is for real, too...........

I BELIEVE the intent is that the faster you go, the faster the fan spins. A squirrelcage-type blade set then draws more air in from the sides and forces it into the intake.

In reality, it probably does squat.

Personal preference really, whether you want functional mirrors, or you're just staying legal and looking cool...

What would you say about mine? They were purchased as "bar end mirrors"

But they let me see what I need to see without obstructing my forward field of vision. I always do a head check anyway

Actually, with bar end mirrors installed like that in that location, you have very good visibility to the rear because you are looking under your arms along the side of the bike.

In that picture with the Triumph, you are going to see a whole lot of your arm/elbow.

Yep. Except on a supermoto...

Bar mirrors up, you see arm.
Bar mirrors down, you fold them up with your knee/leg.
Bar mirrors inboard seems to be the best compromise.

Just seems really odd to look below your hands when riding... I've only ever ridden with stock or slightly modified stock mirrors

Nope. On my speed triple I have clear view behind me with those mirrors.
