I am pretty sure the 2nd gens that have the dual exhaust like that is just a Y-pipe. The exhaust flow will favor one side or the other in most cases.

I had a modified 3rd gen RX-7 that would shoot some fireballs, but that was mainly due to it running really rich. Fun car, just not practical for anything other than a race track. Also, less than 10mpg when in boost running premium gas, not cheap to to keep gas in.

Yeah, the photos show the red bike in the correct lane. The line isn't visible in the first photo because it stops momentarily, but it is clearly visible in the second photo.

They are in this photo, but it looks like they were not before. Look at the angle of the red bike. I'm betting it was a little of both being right on, or over the line.
