Speaking of yellow jackets, they stung the hell out of me the other day up on my logging road. Got me a good ten times before I could get away.

Ten times? I was stung once in the neck the day before yesterday, hurt like hell and half of my face and neck was (and still is) grotesquely swollen.

I was doing around 60mph and saw the little bastard come from the right, hit me right in the little unprotected patch of skin between helmet and leather jacket. It is a mystery to me how he managed to get me so good in the 1/100th of a second the impact lasted. Good reflexes I guess ... it was the first time something like this happened to me.

Around 800lbs and the COG is pretty low. You are not getting a wheel off the ground without a ramp or precipitous cliff.

You sound like you're allergic; ask your doctor about an epi-pen to carry with you.

I was on my way to a motorcycle skills competition yesterday morning when one hit me between the eyes at 50mph. I was not sure if it stung from the impact or if the stinger got me. I kept thinking, "Great. My eyes will swell shut and I won't be able to compete." As I was riding I kept closing ine eye, then the other making sure my vision match in both. It was all good.

Deployable outrig wheels. Pretty cool setup for those that don't want a trike.
