If so the fatality was here on 143 coming off the Cherohala. Supposedly the fatality was a guy from the group that crashed.

Orange paint mark on tree is from NCHP investigation showing where rider impacted the tree and then went off the bank.

This is the location on 143 where the fatality occurred. I away check down off the bank because one day I found a guy and his Ducati down there. Luckily he was not seriously hurt. The other day a lady on one of the new BMW sport bikes went off there and the bike was totaled but she was just bruised up a bit. It is a bad corner but marked in both directions with 25 MPH Curve Warning signs. Maybe I will put up a cross there.

We pulled a Harley out of there not long ago. No injury but the bike was banged up pretty bad but still ride-able. He said he had to lay 'er down.

Not sure of the location. I'm just reading off the killboy report.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...

I only have 900 miles on the DF250RTB bobber so far so good.

Canvas is getting worn on the trailer but it has been around longer than a CT70 clone, a XT225, a Sym HD200, and several other bikes.
I've flipped the trailer twice in off pavement rides when I forgot it was there and cut too close to a bank but no problem. Just drug it upside down and wondered what all the noise was about.

When I stopped here on the way to the dump my buddy wanted to try out the bike and a guy came up and said that the tires on the trailer won't last and I said you are right, they have only been on there for seven years.

What's " drug it upside down" mean?

Believe me, I remember it all too well. No need to rehash it....but it was still more interesting than the last two debates.

If rocker59's explanation didn't clarify it for you allow me to attempt to assist:

Let me paint you a mental piksure. The side of the trailer with the wheels was pointing towards the sky, and the top (where one might place one's personal effects) was on the ground, while the rider and the motorcycle, and the trailer continued to make forward progression in their journey.

Very sad.....RIP and prayers for his family and friends.

The picture with the four bikes on the trailer, two Valkyries, both with car tires. I hope the solo accident was not related to the tire choice....

I wonder if he rolled through some fluids at the wreck scene?

And, I think in a Miata, you'd need more than the trunk.
How long will you be out?

How comfortable do you want to be?

What else will you be doing while out?

Will you be alone the entire time?

While I'll agree that carrying that much may be unwise, and almost certainly is impractical, I can also imagine circumstances when it is necessary, especially if you don't have a Miata handy....

According to the link, he had left the three bike crash scene after attending to the injured. Died shortly afterward a few miles away after leaving the road in a curve. Barnone, posted a pic of the tree he impacted. Sad day for many.
