Amazing! Catching a duck mid-air, through a side window, no less!

Law enforcement can, but license plates aren't exactly confidential info.

We've had LEO friends run plates on some sketchy vehicles/people before. They're not technically supposed to do that as a favor, but they can.

If Killboy gets you driving like an asshat on the wrong side of the road and the driver easily identifiable and posts it up, I think you should get an envelope in your mailbox with a TN ticket in it for left of center.

You can look up license plates yourself in some states.

If it's visible in public, it's fair game to post on the Internet. That applies to your license plate, your choice of riding attire, etc.

There are a very, very small number of exceptions legally, and a slightly larger number ethically, but license plates in general surely isn't one of them. Choosing to not post plates online does buy a small amount of privacy, as just about anyone can look up plates one way or another (whether it's legal or not varies by state and purpose), and I can understand choosing to do so if you don't want to give away your home address or identify your bike in a warranty-compromising situation, but there's no reason you should expect that anyone who happens to see and/or photograph your bike in public will do so.

Just paranoia IMHO.

Some one once told me that would never use a charge card over the phone, as they can be ripped off.

I asked how they paid, they said by check....should have seen the look on their face when I pointed out every check has name, address, phone#, bank account and routing #'s. So much for keeping your information private

The story on the duck is.
The guy has had the duck about 12 years. It rides on the console of the car. It likes french fries. The guy holds the duck over the trash can and shakes it a little and it shits. One would assume that the duck is potty trained and that is how the owner keeps from having duck poop in the car.

That is what i know about the duck. My friend was at the overlook on 129 and talked with the owner of the duck and witnessed the above mentioned.
