Reruns in the winter...film crew on hiatus.

There will still be a few of us idiots up there in the off season.

Did he school or get schooled?

I don't rightly recall the details, it's been about 17 years...
My buddy on the pink and black ZX-11 could rarely catch up to me in the twisties on my Airhead. On the big twin I used to ride the motor and rarely use the brakes. If he started closing in on me I would flash him a little brake light going into a corner. He knew if he saw brake lights it was a bad corner so he would toss out the anchor. I would roll on the gas and motor away.

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

I'm giving a serious thought to running up there tomorrow. It's not going to be cold, just wet.

Why, cause he's a doofus that doesn't know how to control his bike? Post #23857

In the crash photo sequence I see no action on the front brake. Which, since the bike is crossed up and unloaded on the rear tire is after the fact, useless at this point in the pics. But the series of pics show no other vehicle coming and a clear lane straight ahead. He could have quickly straightened up the bike, applied as much of both brakes as possible in a straight line and then readjusted his line back to the right lane. My guess is he wasn't going very fast to begin with so a straight line quick stop is very possible.

Wrong bike on the wrong road with the wrong rider. Can't get crossed up with ape-hangers and hope for decent control. Wrong in many ways. Though I bet he claims, "hadda lay er down!" He does look mean in his chopper wanna-be biker gear though.
