I left the store just as the rain started, got back home without getting wet.

A couple of different car groups up playing around.

What a blast from the past! That's me in the blue/white leathers standing between my red '95 GPz 11 & the Beemer in the 1st photo & the one wearing the grey hat in the 2nd photo!

I remember you on the Beemer! My Dad and I used to be dealers for BMW, so I still had a soft spot for 'em.
Right after this picture was snapped......

everybody went for a "piss-break" off on the side. I (the snow-bird with the pink leathers & the tricked out ZX11) was taking my time and next thing I know all you guy's are on your bikes taking off!!!!!!!!
By the time I got on the bike, you were all far out of sight. I picked off all the bikes one at a time within a few miles, but the guy on the ZX9 took me quite awhile to catch, but catch him I did. Took me about 25 miles to do it, but as I was coming out of a turn, there he was just going into the next turn. I came up on his butt and just stayed there. He was going nuts at the end of the road when we stopped to wait for all the rest of his crew.........."HOLY SHIT, when we took off you were still over on the side pissin'!!! Ain't nobody ever even kept up to me on this road and you fuckin' well caught me!!! You could have passed me any time you felt like it." And I was like......."Once I caught you, believe me, I was happy enough just to ride behind you as I had to ride like a retard to catch you."
Here's the bike then.............

and I STILL have it.............

That was one hell of a good time I had down there, and that day with you guy's on that road was the high point of the whole week-end!
The day before I hooked up with you guy's, a guy on a Ducati 900 SS (belt drive job) offered to show me the, ahem, "good lines" through the dragon. We were at the deli. He was with three of his buddies, we took off with me in the back. His three friends weren't the fastest guy's around so I passed them within about 1/4 mile, tucked in behind my "mentor" for the line schooling, at the very first tightish right hander he's going into it pretty hot and I'm thinking.........his tire ain't very warm, and next thing I see is him sliding up the road on his belly. He jumped up instantly, so he was OK, I parked my bike and went up to him and said........."let me guess, that wasn't one of the good lines." He started cracking up. Bike was just scraped up. I went on my way to try and decipher the lines of the fabled dragon on my own.

Happy New Year...118 miles in the bag today ! Road was clear with minimal traffic.

I've done my trip to the store so I'm good for the rest of the year.

Fail being I forgot to fully charge my ipod and had to ride home with no tunes.

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Were you up there early enough to meet the nice THP officer? They wanted to start the year there, too.

No Leo while I was up there. Probably got to the store around 2:30. Milled around for a bit, looked at some cruisers, and headed back home. Saw a good sized group of ricer cars coming in as I was leaving.

You don't carry a charging cable? I'm sure that beast has a 12v outlet..

That's why I like my Sena. I can switch pretty easy from MP3 to my phone for tunes, or the kindle to lesten to a book.

Last trip my outlet went out. So I switched from one to the other as they died. between them they lasted the 500 miles home. lol
