Really? Any rider who does not know the Goldwing can not be compared to a sportbike really should consider remedial training. I suggest a BRC.

There are several of us wing riders who rip up that road, and others, and none of us believe for one second that we can outrun a sport bike with a skilled rider. Rick included.

The shoes will probably scrape/slide before they catch and twist up his ankle.

The outer edge of my shoes always hit just before the footpegs begin scraping. I guess I have wide feet, or I'm doing what he's doing and pointing my toes outward. Anyway, my shoes just slide along the asphalt.

That being said, it could all go wrong and SNAP!!! I hope not, though.

Amazing the guy made it, it looks like a bad crash.
