Moto Jasrck - has a ride report going. Quit work, headed south, passed thru Deal's Gap, currently in Big Bend, Tx. I believe he is ahead of most of us weenies on the adventure biker scale.

Well, again, that's something you'd have to be there to see... We SM riders just don't give a hoot if we crash, it's a smug badge of honor to know WE don't need a wrecker and an ambulance... And a scene... Or fan fare... Or our picture in the paper...

MAYBE, and is evident in pic b, he saw down the barrel (the road) and decided to give ol' Killboy something to see...

Then, as it happens so fast when you're used to riding closer to the envelope than say, a BMW barge rider, or some guy with knobbies, he went just that little pinch too much, and just decided at that point to pack it in, and laid her down...

But I wasn't there. I don't know WHAT he was thinking, I just know it happens, b/c I ride similar.

I wasnt there, so I'm not gonna pass judgement.

Starting from back there...

To the horizon point here,

Well he is certainly behind us in the "Sit Back Behind Your Keyboard and Make Fun Of People actually Doing Stuff" scale.

I wonder what the story behind that olive green bag strapped to the tank of that GS is - that camo pattern was used pretty much exclusively by the forces of the former socialist German Democratic Republic.

If that's how your supposed to ride a SM bike I'm glad I don't ride one.

Let me know how it goes after you slide under a semi...

Who? Couldn't find anything. I'm interested in Big Bend rides, having just come from there a few months ago.

To the horizon point here,

Riding knee down is a waste of a perfectly good supermoto...

And your comment on crashing being a badge of honor, that may apply on the track so you can continue with your RACING or TRACK DAY. On the street, not so much.
