Looking at this again. This guy is about a millisecond away from doing a real "Face Plant". I wonder how the POS skullcap he is wearing is going to protect his face? Dang! They need some before, during, and after shots of these guys!

That's gonna hurt. Hate to see it, but it may be educational for many.

Is this photoshopped?? Tell me it is. Surely the motorcycle community as a whole hasn't allowed an ace-hat like this, to ride a magnificent machine like that, wearing a $10 cruiser helmet, on backwards no less. Shame...

Looks like he's trying to start a new motorcycling "fashion" trend.

I actually witnessed a poor guy dying at the Dragon , few years back, only because he wore a helmet like that...He made a mistake, but he would have lived had he had a good helmet.

My friend was holding his hand and she tried to calm him down while I and my other friend were directing traffic. His riding partner was in shock, there was no way to call for help and it took time before someone made it to the Resort and called for help. The cops came and the ambulance, but he died in a helicopter as I recall... Really sad . We had talked to him earlier at the lookout and this was his first trip to the 'Gap. He was very excited he made few runs...

A good helmet would have saved him for sure, a 3/4 helmet even...

I'm all for being dressed properly to "play".

Cheers,
