That was an abortion. If you can't stay in your lane slow the fuck down.

I was thinking the same thing. The guy can ride a Harley far better than me, but to post a vid to show what can be done and then be all over the road doesn't work for me.

And CPR is for someone whose heart has stopped beating. I'm pretty sure if your heart has stopped you're not likely to be thinking about coughing and curling up in a ball on the floor. You're likely to be thinking "I had a good life, guess it's check out time" in the few seconds of consciousness you may have left. Survival is gonna depend on advanced life care getting to you within minutes.

The actual RIDING didn't seem bad to me. Didn't hear much floorboard grinding so there was opportunity to push harder for someone with bigger balls or more skill.

Crossing the yellow line with such abandon is not what I would have chosen to do although I didn't see anything overtly stupid. Not surprisingly, the hand-wringers don't see beyond this.

Fake, The vid is sped up, watch the unatural movements when the guy on the other bike waves him by.

+1

I had a friend who rode extensively on mountain roads and didn't have his first accident until over 50 years of riding when a dog ran in front of him. He routinely used both lanes on curvy roads. He normally rode bikes with limited cornering clearance so that is how he went fast. Crossing the double yellow DOES NOT automatically lead to instant death.

IE he was over-riding the road. Having a bike with crappy clearance is a crappy excuse to cross the centerline. If, in order to "go fast" on a particular road, you have to cross the centerline, you are riding too fast for that road and your bike.

Or you suck at riding!

50 years of 2000 miles a year does not necessarily a good rider make either!

Jim

PS I am not necessarily referring to the other poster, but I have seen this too many times. "I've been riding 25 years, so I am obviously a good rider", from someone who patently sucked at riding, and only rides a couple thousand miles a year.

This guy I referred to lived in the N GA mountains, rode a lot and was considered a very good rider. Of course, much of his riding was done back in a time when traffic was much lighter and LEO presence was very rare. He was well known for embarassing sport bike riders on a Gold Wing or Voyager 1200.

Are you Savoir-Faire's fake n00b? At 20 mph you can do that.

Took you that long did it? I knew it was sped up in the first three seconds.

Let them dream.

All caps... Exclamation points… Wrong use “of” word…

Reminds me of this:

I tell my students that many folks have been riding for ten years, but they don't have ten years worth of experience. They have six months of experience repeated 20 times because they got past that 6 month noob stage.
