How about we move the Stelvio posts to a Stelvio riding thread and leave this one on topic; failure at Deal's Gap..

Well this thread has previously veered off on umpteen tangents so if you want to remove posts about Stelvio you should cut some of the other dross as well - which would be quite a monumental task. Further, some of the posts are at least slightly relevant as they are relating the riding (and crashing) in the Alps in general and Stelvio in particular to that at Deal's Gap.

However, I suppose one could certainly start a Stelvio riding thread, or even an Alps "fail" thread. I have a video clip from Stelvio that could go there.

Wrong tool for the job for sure, I wonder if the big tires are compensation for a "small package"?

Naw, he’s a Florida rider...Probably this was the first time he had to take a corner. He needs to be sentenced to riding cruisers.

^^^ It was mighty kind of the driver of that black car to move over so the motorcyclist could hold his line while passing.

That tire is worse than a car tire on a motorcycle. He needs to take it back to FL and park it at a bar.

That is just an immense amount of money and effort to take a motorcycle and make it look that ornate and non-functional.

I guess the pale skin (and plenty of it) are just a byproduct of that much time in the garage?

It is the two-wheel equivalent of this.

Not my thing, but to each his own. At least he's in his lane.
