There are plenty of YouTube videos of dipshits in California hitting the pavement...

That's a new feature for 2012: Harleymonics. It costs $9,000, financing available.

Nevermind. Every rider in the south rides LOC, at either 30 below or 30 above the posted speed limit. Often blindfolded. Wearing a thong. And nothing else.

You'd probably be better off staying out West and avoiding our roads all together.

The riders at Deal's Gap come from all over America and it's not unusual to meet riders from all over the world there. Some of the worst riders there come from places like Florida or Michigan where there are no curvy roads.

That is not very nice, but kind of true.
Not all of us are so bad though.

Worse rider I've seen in Northern California was from Nevada. We caught up with him on CA-1 about two miles west of Leggett and finally had to stop for a break. He was using the entire road, blind corner or not so we couldn't get in front of him and it was too painful to sit behind and watch.

I lived in South East Michigan for a couple of years. the closest roads with a few curves on the them where around Hell You did know that Hell was a town in Michigan right? I visited a friend in Petosky and he showed me the best local roads. They didn't compare to the roads down here.

There are some very good riders from Florida, as well as Michigan. They are often good riders because they come to the Smokies to practice
BTW, when I lived in Florida I headed up to the Smokies when I wanted a good ride.

Please do reconsider. Pretty sure you aint lost nothing here and we will get along fine without you explaining how they do it in California,

We head up to North Georgia, Western NC and that whole area at least once a year and hopefully twice. When I get home to South Florida, I'm sooooo bored going slow and straight behind the cotton heads.

I lived in Homosassa Springs on the west coast of Florida for a few years just down the road from the "Ozello Dragon", 69 curves in 9 miles..

Just south of us was the Brookesville area, there are actually some nice roads there, with a few curves, and gently rolling hills.

Florida has some of my favorite roads to ride.....in January & February.

Riding on Daytona beach at 10mph can be quite scenic and curvy at times...

Overall however the best roads in Florida are the ones heading north to other States...

....oh yeah, a thread pic....

First time I rode a motorcycle was Spring Break in Daytona Beach in 1979. Probably the only place in the country that would let a 17 year old with out a motorcycle endorsement rent a bike. Being 17, I was really into the curvy scene. I was hooked after that.
