I found Deals gap to be nice in a tight, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 1st gear kind of way.
Interestingly I almost never got out of 2nd gear during my two runs with the FJR.

Protective gear is for pussies!

A kid I went to high school with was limbing up a tree and the saw kicked back and cut him in half, shoulder to havel. Was working solo, had cooled out before his dad even went looking for him.

I gave my favorite blue jeans what kids now call a "fashion hole" across my left thigh with a Stihl 028 one day.

I ran a D-2 caterpillar up a tree backwards until it was balanced on it's blade before I got stopped- jumped out had to cut the tree down to push it back onto the tracks.

All before I turned 18.

But motorcycles- they were dangerous. I wasn't allowed to ride a motorcycle.
