Shit- I was going to pretend it was me on the way back from picking up my new bike....

...but the license plate blew it.

It looks like Alton Brown...

For you detectivy types.

It's probable that these two are together:

And the one in front has a distinctive plate:

I guess all we gotta do is ask him.

Don't forget the guy taking the pictures. There are at least three people involved in this cover-up.

Oh, brother!

I'm glad you made it home safely from Dry Run. Will there be a ride report?

I was at the Tail of the Dragon Easter Sunday, as well. I'm on the overloaded DR on pages 2 and 6 of killboy's motards-dirtbike-trikes-scooters pages. Traffic was relatively light up there that day.

All the best,
Chris

Same corner on the Dragon, a month ago...

I have found at the Gap, that if you maintain a constant 35 to 40 mph (edit: in your own lane) you'll out run

99% of the people there. Especially the numb nuts that are wide open on the straights.
If you can maintain a constant 35-40mph on that road you're either a liar or Mr. Rossi...

I ran the Dragon twice this past Sunday about 10:00 a.m.. It was empty. No other bikes on either pass, only two cars, no police, no photogs. An empty twisty road not unlike many others I rode this weekend.

There was a whole line of bikes parked at Deals Gap store/motel. Nobody was riding. It was raining but not bad.

Aint hard at all I guess, just cross the centerline wherever you feel like it. Don't bother worrying about the people riding the other way...

Does someone need to go to riders school?

Perhaps if you put both hands on the bars and leaned your body more than the bike you could wick it up a notch or two.

There is a guy that has a video out doing it on a Goldwing.

There's some corners where even 30 isn't an option... The one pictured here (where all the big lenses hang out) isn't one of them, but I wasn't going to flog another inmates bike...

You're a good man to not push it while riding anothers bike. I'd toss you my keys any time.

Last weekend we had a dual sport campout up the Trask out here in OR. It was nice to see all the bike sharing going on. It gave people the chance to check out all kinds of different bikes.
