You're looking at the "after" pic. In the "before" pic she was sliding gloveless down the street.

If the daughter wants to ride one of MY bikes she will also wear gear or she can stay home, Since it is MY bike it is her choice if she wants to ride it or stay home, that is her choice. Now if she wants to buy her own bike I will make recomendations but since she is an adult and does not live with me the choice is hers.

If I take someone on my bike, it is my responsibility as a human being to ride in a way as to protect them, not to see if they can hang on. Maybe she likes the thrill, but I bet she has not fallen yet...

and you ride atgatt, right? I bet she doesn't even know there is something to protect the human body that works. I had a woman try to make a fool out of me by saying "whats with the jacket, are you cold?" Every laughed but I said no, it is pretty warm out, I just like my skin. She had the latest HD short jacket with tassels, jeans and sneakers. I told her if you ever crashed on the bike since you sit on the back, you will become a flying object and its going to ruin your day. Those tassels ain't going to help...she stopped laughing, but still wears the jacket.

But I think she got boots
You two are missing the point the ladies are trying to make regarding the statement red9(or whatever his user name is) made. They're saying women are able to take care of and think for themselves and not rely on their man to make decisions for and or take care of them.

Sad too, as even a modern car could easily pass another on many of those roads where now its illegal simply because its a double yellow.

So much fail.
Every time they repaint the lines here we loose more and more passing zones...and they usually lower the speed in those areas too.

I thought it was because someone said he is not being responsible for the rider with the shorts and pink tank top. I got my pics and replies crossed. I'm going back to the basement.

Slowly, right in front of our eyes, things are changing. And we are just about powerless to do anything about it.

If you cannot stop in your sight line, you are going to fast - and that makes you a squid, despite the leathers...[/QUOTE]

Can I assume since you are calling him a Squid, that you KNOW his speed, the Braking capabilities of his bike and his reaction time as well his skill as a rider since you assumne he will not be able to stop?

Yes, hitting something sucks but even the most skilled riders riding down a straight road with great sight and a perfect bike might have someone pull out in front of them or a deer or something else. there are some things that are even beyond oour control, everything we do is a risk, yes even riding a motorcycle. How much risk are you willing to take?
