Slightly OT, but this is Oregon's mini version of Dragon's Tail - OR242 west of McKenzie Pass. About 5 miles of smooth, twisted road with an elevation change of 2,000 ft. Drove the family truckster there last summer and pulled over to let 5 motards by - sweet road :)

Oooh, yes, please!

Wait, um no - the part after "fulfill my inner need" wasn't at all what I was hoping for

I live about an hour from that road :)

Definitely better to take West to East, but there's often a crap-ton of gravel on the corners, especially the right-handers. Great pavement since they repaved it a few years ago, though, and some incredible scenery.

Here's a ride report from a great site for Oregon motorcycle roads, oregonmotorcyclist.com

Are you daft? Do you really want a bunch of idiots up there that can't manage to stay on their own damn side of the road?

We also have roads like that not to far from Deals Gap. They are often twistier and more challenging but they don't have the crowds or photographers or T shirts to draw the crowds. No, I'm NOT going to post any road names.

But you can PM me a list so I can learn of some that I might not have been on for future visits.

Looks like the same guy driving each one. Must be a pre requisite look to buy one.
