Well, if the cameraman had missed the follow-up shots he could have been...

ETA: You know, he DOES have good crash/fall technique. Leg out of the low side, arms up - not feeling for the pavement with his hands, lots of surface area on the ground, dressed for it, avoided a launch into the trees, etc. That situation was ripe for a nasty highside.
