I can't help you, friend.

Q: Could typing "I can't help y'ins, friend" pass muster, too? Is y'ins singular as well as plural?

I miss cole slaw on my sangwiches...

...and getting WTPA on the radio.

the prefered spelling seems to be "yinz" here in pittsburgh. personally, i like the singular form of "yin", but, despite my best efforts, that does not seem to be catching on.

Is that poor child on the back of a "gasp" Victory Vision?

O the huge manatee!

I'm guessing the embarrassment will be worse than anything but a fatal accident.

Odd that when one of those art deco monstrosities comes into view, the last sense we want is "Vision"

Traffic sucks but it's still a nice view and the curves are still there. When you come from Florida, even taking the curves slowly is pretty fun.

As long as his disability is never the proximate cause of injuring an innocent person, I don't what he does to ride.

Yeah. He might fall over at a stop light, then someone feeling sorry for him might throw their back out picking up the bike. That would be horrible and he should feel terrible about the undue pain and suffering he would be causing that poor innocent person.

do people really have problems with causing their bike to lean a particular direction at stoplights?

(seriously, it boggles my mind that anyone would have even thought of that as an issue...)

I turn a little to the right as I come to a stop to countersteer to the left to put down my left foot. Is that the right way to do it? I would wonder how he could stop on an incline if the high side of the ground is the wrong way

It's a cruiser, it's not a dual sport with a 36" seat height, it's got a seat height in the neighborhood of 26". Unless he's sitting on a 40% grade, I'm willing to bet he can still get his foot down.

I've got both legs, but when coming to a stop, I only put one down, and I know which one it's going to be, long before I get there.

Is this just because you control which side, or do you look at where you're stopping and actually decide left or right?

Static... fade of picture... more static
Coming into focus

A request for all the knowledgeable inmates here. A friend had a bad knee. Got it fixed. Still had problems within it. More surgeries. Traded up to a Road King and then had to have more surgery. (Yes I still admit he is a friend, just with an HD problem, still accepted) Ended up amputating his left leg above the knee in that surgery. The Road King sits in the garage. He is working to get a prosthesis after the appropriate healing time.

He is pretty bummed about how he is going to manage the bike. So duudes and dudettes, pirates and squids, monkeys and dirt daubers. Give me some pix, links, information etc about successful bike modifications. He is not excited about a trike but might warm to some nice examples. He will need mods for the left foot control. Would love to keep it two wheels Thanks..

You will now be returned to your regularly hijacked thread...

Static.... noise... fade to black... and

coming in to focus

Wow traffic like that just makes my arms hurt. So many goo.........ah horrible roads in that area.... I guess it is the best they can do to run in the parade... Those from Florida aren't viewed much higher up the feeding trough than those from out of the country above the Mason Dixon line.
