Tires are just like politics, religion, and sports teams. Everybody believes that theirs are the best.

As a dualsporter, I believe every tire is a compromise.

Seriously, if for once I heard someone say, "I run a car tire because I run all day on the slab, and my 800 lb. cruiser isn't quick in the corners anyway, so I can hardly feel the difference" then I could have some respect for their choice. But it's always "I turn just fine and I ride more miles in a year than you do, so don't you dare question me."

Well in the other movie, the bike came apart from the car as an escape vehicle after he killed the car. So at least in the movie world there is a reason for it being a car tire... other than getting good miles out of it.

The newest orange paint on the road just above the CROT are from a darksided Goldwing. Fella may not make it.

Target fixation. Watch carefully right at 14-15 seconds.

As was said Cross Roads of Time:

Fella was in some serious pain. Screaming out for morphine way before help arrived. Rode the ditch, struck the mountain and was thrown down hard onto the shoulder of the road onto his left side. Likely broken ribs and punctured lung, etc. A few days later, there was orange paint on the road.

Here's the "darkside" for ya.

All: Well, one could compare this contact patch with the contact patches in the pix in Posts 13388 and 13391? Plenty of riders lose it on the dragon and contact patch is rarely discussed as the primary fail or the initiating cause of subsequent fail.

Dude looks like he is having a blast too.

It also appears he made it all the way from Michigan without any help from the wisdom of this crowd?

And this was such a phenomenal fail, nobody caught the other fail - waving in a turn.
He has that arm out to counterbalance the bike as it falls off the corner of that rear tire. Standard operating procedure.
And if you look down those pipes, they are obviously loud enough to save his life so he can wave his arms about all he likes in turns with total impunity.
