yeah, it wouldn't make any sense to try to reduce the impact speed.

I think "steering" means turning the wheel sometimes. Now would be a good time to try that. (Oops, I meant then was a good time to try that.)

Me too... even for a pedal-bike ride.
Lived in Tucson for 18mos. Never once had a desire to ride a bicycle up that road.
